According to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Major General James Dickinson has been nominated to take over the Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command and be promoted to Lieutenant General. He still needs to be confirmed by the US Senate.
He would also take command of the Army Forces, Strategic Command and the Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense.
