Background
The Czech Republic was one of the first countries to join the NATO in 1999. Three years later the Czech government decided to offer its soil for an X-band radar, which was supposed to be moved from the Kwajalein Atoll.
Current Development
Revision of the policy in the view of the new Administration is expected to postpone or alter plan to deploy radar in the Czech Republic and interceptors to Poland. However, the option of deploying a radar or other systems is still under consideration.
