RIYADH – The Royal Saudi Air Defense Force (RSADS) intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by the Yemeni Houthi militia towards Jazan city, southwest Saudi Arabia, on Saturday evening.
The launching of the missile from Sa’da governorate, north Yemen, was detected at 20:17, local time, and the missile was timely destroyed without resulting in any casualties, spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen Col. Staff Turki Al-Maliki said in a press release.
