US guided-missile destroyer Donald Cook leaves Black Sea

WASHINGTON, January 28. /TASS/. The US Navy’s guided-missile destroyer Donald Cook has left the Black Sea and is heading for the Mediterranean through the Bosphorus Strait, the US 6th Fleet’s press office reported on Monday.

“The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) began its south-bound transit of the Bosphorus Strait, en route to the Mediterranean Sea Jan. 28, 2019, after conducting maritime security operations and enhancing regional maritime stability, combined readiness and naval capability with our NATO allies and partners in the Black Sea,” the press office reported.
