ExecutiveBiz:

Raytheon‘s integrated defense systems business has won a potential $19.9 million contract to update the service branch’s Air and Missile Defense Radar and the Next Generation Jammer systems.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract also covers the development of an X-band radar technology, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The Navy will obligate $1.1 million in fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award. Work will occur at a company facility in Tewksbury, Massachusetts through June 8, 2020.

The Office of Naval Research is still accepting entries for the service solicitation over the year via a long-range broad agency announcement.
