Inside Defense:
The cross-functional team focused on air and missile defense modernization has concentrated its early efforts on two urgent requirements, but its director is eyeing longer-range objectives for the next phase of the team’s operation. Brig. Gen. Randall McIntire told Inside the Army in a March 14 interview the CFT has been focused on two key areas: developing a maneuver short-range air defense capability and integrating the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and Patriot missile defense systems.
